This vintage dress had holes, an old hem, a v bodice where the skirt was attached, and the buttons were all disintegrating. Oh and the bust looked like pointy missiles.
Those took several tries before I got them perfect. You can’t do these alterations symmetrically because nobody is symmetrical.
It’s hard to tell from these beautiful images that anything was wrong at all with this gown. That’s the goal! I don’t want anyone to see all the work, I want them to see the beautiful bride.
