Moroccan-inspired Wedding Dress

This lovely bride came to the dress shop where I used to work and had a very clear vision of what she wanted. She brought in images of runway dresses, and knew she wanted a very particular red to get married in.

She had visited Morocco and was blown away by the amount of color in the wedding dresses and wanted to forego the white/off-white of traditional American weddings, and make a big splash.

The bodice was draped on a form and then custom fit to her body. After several fittings, everything was perfect and she was in love.

With custom wedding gowns, you actually end up with a pretty light dress. The beauty of high end and couture is that, even with light weight boning, the body creates the structure.

Tailored top and draped skirts are always so lovely!
