Stacy found me through a Facebook group we both belong to, and I am so glad she found me. She came in for her first consultation with a couple of bridesmaids. She wasn’t sure what kind of dress she wanted made, so we started to get to know each other. As she spoke, I took notes, later synthesizing her likes/dislikes into a dress sketch.
She saw some silk crepe draped on a dress form, touched it, and said, I want this. Whatever it is. I want this.
The other thing Stacy knew she wanted was a hot pink hem! And pink at the waist. I kept checking in with her to make sure I was getting the right pink on a scrap of the silk before dying the actual dress.
Stacy and her husband have been together for a long time, they have a sweet daughter together, and a full, happy life. They decided to get married, and Stacy joked they were doing everything backwards.
Jenni from Joyful Exposures, who is amazing at story telling through her lens, arranged with Stacy to come in and take some photos of the process of having the dress made. I want all of my custom clients to have this experience. It’s really nice to see the process.
Stacy was such a pleasure to work with!
I love how much Stacy enjoyed the movement of the fabric!
I love this last picture so much! What a sweet family!
